BENEFITS OF DRINKING LEMON,LIME AND CUCUMBERWATER

                                      Lemon_Lime and Cucumber water and there benefits.

Lime, lemon and cucumber water are good to our health because it reduces fever, it has vitamin C in it and it also flushes our system. Taking lemon_lime, cucumber water with Luke-warm water in the morning helps us start our day because it clears the digestive system, it also have some vitamins in it, it also boost our immune system and work against infections like flu and cold.

Cucumber has some vitamins and mineral in it which we need on our daily lives.
It helps our muscle and joint pain, it reduces cholesterol, it has 95% of water in it, cucumber are low in calories and high in fiber which is good for our weight loose and digestive system.
Eating cucumber also helps in our hair growth, it also helps us in hangover cure (morning headache) eat cucumber before going to bed.
Cucumber contains  sugar and vitamin B so try and eat cucumber on daily basics.

Which our health improves by the potassium in lemon_lime water. So make it a habit to add lemon_lime, cucumber to your daily drinking water, to enjoy all its medical properties properties. RIPE PLANTAIN WITH FRESH VEGETABLE SAUCE AND BOILED EGG


Plantain is a delicious food nobody can resist, especially when prepared with vegetable sauce.

INGREDIENTS:
Ripe plantain
Carrot
Egg
Green pepper
Green beans
Fresh tomatoes
Fresh pepper
Onions
Vegetable oil
Seasoning cubes
Salt


PREPARATION
1. Cut your ripe plantain in a bowl wash and set aside
2. Cut your carrot, green pepper, green beans, fresh tomatoes, onions, and fresh pepper and set aside
3. Pour out you one cup of vegetable oil and set aside






COOKING METHOD FOR RIPE PLANTAIN
In an empty pot, put your cut plantain and add two medium cups of water and place on fire. Add one teaspoon of salt  then allow to cook for about 25 minutes, bring down and remove plantain from water.

FOR EGG
In an empty pot put your eggs and add 2 medium cups of water. Place on fire, allow to boil for 15 minutes then bring down and peel the eggs.

FOR SAUCE
Place your frying pan on fire, pour in two cooking spoon of vegetable oil and allow for 5 minutes. Add your onions and stir. Add your green beans and stir for 2 minutes. Add your salt and fresh pepper then stir. Add your carrot, green pepper and fresh tomatoes then stir for another 3 minutes. Bring down and turn off your burner. Food is ready to be served.

FRIED PLAINTAIN,BAKED BEANS AND PAP




Just woke up from a refreshing night sleep and started thinking of something that won't take time to prepare for my little ones. Since it's Monday morning and needed to have the most important meal of the day before stepping out, I made this fast and easy meal for BREAKFAST!!!

INGREDIENTS
Pap (akamu or ogi)
Ripe plantain
Baked beans
Vegetable oil for frying
Salt


PREPARATION FOR PAP
 In a kettle boil water on fire, then in an empty pan put the pap add a little water then use spoon to melt it check if the water is boiling very well if yes then pour inside the pap then use your spoon to turn it. Pap is ready.

PREPARATION FOR FRYING PLANTAIN
Wash your ripe plantain, pill and slice to desired shape in a bowl add a little salt to the plantain turn, place your frying pan on fire add your vegetable oil allow to heat for 10 minutes, start adding your sliced plantain to fry or till turn brown then remove and add the remaining one till is finished then turn off your burner. Fried plantain is ready serve with baked beans.

CALCIUM: Which we need for strong teeth and bones to keep the body more alkaline.

It is sunday, after service as usual everybody was expecting rice, so i decided to surprise them with some delicious jollof plantain and trust me it worked. And they enjoyed it. If you are not a plantain fan like my little ones after trying this, with the health benefits you cant resist plantain again.
